STEMs Need Flowers

with Candice Blansett-Cummins

Digital toys, games and education have their place, and for some they provide access or capability where there may have been less or none. But when the STEM pendulum swings too far, it can be to the detriment of our ability to grow curious and kind thinkers and makers. There is a hands-on, holistic way to blend the sciences, the arts and social-emotional learning, and this session explores how strengthening that creative muscle starts with analog exploration.

Candice Blansett-Cummins abandoned the C-suite in 2007 to start an arts business for families: The Wishcraft Workshop®️. Candice built an international community by growing artists, thinkers and citizens and wants every child to experience how curiosity, creative courage and kindness in all things creates change, alignment and opportunity.
